The simple things in life..
Do you take time to enjoy the simple things? Do you take time to lay in the meadow, look up in the sky and make shapes out of clouds? To pull over and watch the sunset? To drive to the beach and watch the sunrise? To take a walk and stop and admire the flowers? To take some time off and make memories with your children or grandchildren? To take a roadtrip and sleep in the back of your car? I have always tried to make a constant conscious effort to do just that, however we are human and get caught up in life. Making this change allows us to do just that...and WE are so excited for that!!
We are so thankful for our children, each one of them, they are such a great blessing even when they are being bone heads!! It is amazing watching them exist as adults, watching 2 of our children start their own little families, watching the others live their dreams out, being their to offer a shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold and help them up when they fall and the tough love words when they are going in a direction that is not a good one...
We are also so blessed to be grandparents! It is a love like no other, no one can ever tell you the amount of love you feel when you hold your grandchild in your arms for the first time.. As a parent the first time you hold your baby in your arms you don't feel as though you could love anyone more, as a grandparent there are no words for the depths of your love... it is indescribable!

This past weekend we welcomed a new member to the family.. Mattea Rose Hugi! She is such a bundle of blessings! We couldn't be more proud of our son Matt and daughter in law (to-be) Kenzie!
