Hello...
Hope you all had an amazing Fourth of July with your friends and families!
As I write today's post I am still under the influence of medication.. Last Thursday at work I was lifting up an old monitor and it flipped forward and instantly I was in pain :(... a pain I was VERY familiar with as I had 2 back surgeries in 2003 and 2004. It was a pain that I never wanted to experience again. Thankful for our daughter Destinee who I was working with she dropped what she was doing and went and got me a chair to sit in, did my best to make it through the day. I was so angry! We began to make such great progress in Hanke and the time was ticking... We had started to put up the ceiling planks on Wednesday and planned to finish them Thursday...
We did work on Hanke a little Thursday.. well my wonderful hubby did as I sat in the chair :/ he got one coat of paint on and then it was time to get me home as I was getting really uncomfortable.
Friday morning was a HUGE struggle for me with the pain, ended up going to the ER and got some medicine to help with the muscle spasms and the pain... rested the rest of the day.
Saturday we (mostly Hugi but I helped when I could) got back at it and completed the ceiling, got the cabinet and countertop in, put the mattress on the bed and started the floor. We are so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!
So thankful for my amazing, smart, handy, and strong husband!
We have 10 days until closing!
